Who is the speaker?

Jeffrey P. Wasserman

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
Over thirty years as a trial lawyer.
Managing partner of law firm, overseeing all administration and operation.

Judicial Outreach and Development Director for Delaware Council on Gambling Problems.
Speaker at law related seminars and conferences, including ethics and professionalism.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE:
Law
Represented clients before trial courts, appellate courts and administrative agencies.
Attended mediations and arbitrations in all areas of civil litigation.
Extensive experience in legal research and writing, including drafting briefs and pleadings.

Management
Managed civil litigation law firm consisting of attorneys, paralegals, law clerks and clerical staff.
Hired, screened and trained new employees. Performed annual employee evaluations and determined compensation levels.
Conducted monthly meetings with employees. Set goals and performance standards.
Developed and implemented an employee handbook.

Mentored new attorneys completing requirements for admission to the Delaware Bar.
