The Editors and Staff of the University of Montana’s Public Land and Resources Law Review are pleased to announce the 36th Annual Public Land Law Conference, Transcending Boundaries: Achieving Success in Cooperative Management of Natural Resources. The conference will be held Thursday, Oct. 1, and Friday, Oct. 2, at the University of Montana in Missoula.

The conference is approved for 6.0 CLE credits, MT Bar course #30584.  This  year’s conference will examine issues in the governance and  management of natural resources across international, state, and  Tribal boundaries. Rather than review historic problems, this  symposium will focus on creative and emerging solutions. The  goals of this conference are to provide a national platform  for the presentation of new scholarship, to highlight and  examine significant current events, and to foster collaboration  among some of the nation’s brightest legal minds. These  discussions will not only serve to inform future policy, but  will also put on display a few of the recent successes that  have been achieved in this field.

The conference keynote will be presented by Hilary Tompkins, Solicitor, U.S. Department of the Interior.
