Who is the speaker?
Nancy Stek, MS, LCADC is the Associate Director of the New Jersey Lawyers and New Jersey Judges Assistance Programs. Her Career spans the fields of health care, education and the non-profit sector and she has been a featured speaker at both local and national conferences including the Commission on Lawyers Assistance of the American Bar Association and National Judicial College. Nancy was a pioneer in the field of Student Assistance in New Jersey and developed the first student assistance program at Whittier College in California. She also served as lead trainer for Firs Light Partners, providing on-going training programs for medical professionals and social workers in Ukraine.
An Associate Member of the ABA, Nancy is active on several CoLAP (Commission on Lawyers Assistance Programs) committees including Annual Conference Planning Committee. She is a licensed addictions counselor (LCADC), a volunteer Disaster Response Crisis Counselor, A Certified Life Coach, and Certified Hardiness Trainer. Nancy also serves on the Board for the Adult Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) at Middlesex County Adult Correctional Institution and on the Board of the New Jersey Repertory Company.
