The Cascade County Commissioners will weigh new evidence and information in the coming days as the process to select a new county attorney nears an end.

Commissioners are considering two deputy county attorneys following Monday's interviews for the top prosecutor job in Cascade County, the Great Falls Tribune reports. Josh Racki and Matt Robertson were selected for interviews from a pool of five applicants, which also included two Great Falls attorneys and one from Helena.

The commission's selection will replace former county attorney John Parker, who moved across the street and into the judicial branch in April after he was appointed to district judge by Gov. Steve Bullock.
