Bankruptcy Court taking comment on proposed amendments to local rules and forms

The Local Rules Committee of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Montana is now accepting public comment on proposed amendments to the Local Bankruptcy Rules and Forms. 

The deadline for comment is Tuesday, Aug. 1, at noon Mountain time.  

The court asks attorneys to review the proposed rules and forms. You may email any comments to LocalRules@mtb.uscourts.gov.

Amendments to the Local Rules and Forms, if adopted by Chief Judge Benjamin Hursh after the public comment period closes, are expected to go into effect on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017. Please watch the court website for updates, as this date may change.
