Information2025 Celtic CLE
May 26, 2025 - May 30, 2025
Please join us for the Fourth Annual Celtic CLE in Cork, Ireland on May 26 - 30, 2025. Each year the Alexander Blewett III School of law at the University of Montana, the State Bar of Montana, and the Baucus Institute sponsor a one-week comparative law CLE at the University College Cork law school. This program is taught by faculty from the Blewett School of Law at UM's law faculty and law faculty from the University College Cork. The program
identifies current legal issues and analyzes them through a U.S. and Irish/EU legal lens.
This year the program will focus on comparative constitutional law and administrative agencies. We will analyze recent U.S. Supreme Court cases' drastic changes to administrative law and the constitutional implications of those decisions. We will compare the current U.S. framework with constitutional issues regarding agencies in Irish and European law.
The program will run May 26 - May 30. We will seek approval for 15 CLE credits for attendees. The tuition cost is $795.
