As America prepares to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, please join Hon. Brian Morris, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Montana, Hon. Cory Swanson, Chief Justice of the Montana Supreme Court, and State Bar of Montana President Aislinn Brown for a moderated discussion on how America's justice system, marked by the independence of its courts and legal profession, has continued to support the rule of law and help shape the American Dream. Starting with our founding documents, the program will include a discussion of the roots of America's independent judiciary, the development of the legal profession and its own independence and ethics rules, and how that history has helped guide the country through periods of prosperity as well as times of deep unrest, with each panelist sharing their own unique perspectives.
