Ethics & Advocacy CLE

-Approved for 6.5 Montana CLE Credits (including 3.0 ethics)

This is the CLE for everyone who represents or sues government entities and is your last chance to get those vital ethics credits before the end of the reporting year.  You will learn about the potential ethical dilemmas faced by attorneys who represent the federal, state, and local government and government employees from the Office of Disciplinary Counsel and a member of the Professionalism Committee. You will get insights on the persuasive value of following the rules from members of the bench, hear about defending the State against constitutional challenges and requests for declaratory and injunctive relief from an attorney in the Montana Attorney General’s Office, and learn about the defenses unique to government entities and their employees from attorneys who represent them.
