Understanding Depression

Originally presented Dec. 7, 2016

About this video:

Depression and anxiety are no strangers to those in the legal profession. Unattended stress, unreasonable demands, unhealthy coping strategies and just dealing with day to day life in the 21st century can lead some of us to the edge. It is a problem that can remain hidden and destroy lives and careers. It is also a problem that can be identified and treated successfully. This CLE will explore anxiety and depression as it relates to legal professionals, and will look at early identification strategies and resources for help. It will also provide tips for helping a colleague and for navigating the holiday season (and other high stress times) successfully.
