Forgot Password or a New User

IF YOU ARE A MEMBER of the Bar and this is the first time you have logged in OR have forgot your password please follow the instructions below.

The State Bar of Montana does not allow non-member access. If you have an inquiry about this site please call (406) 442-7660 or email mailbox@montanabar.org

 

Please type your username or the email address associated with your profile and click the "Reset Password" button. Usernames by default are your first and last name no space. If you have the same name as another member (i.e. John Smith) your username may include your middle initial.

If you don't receive the password reset email please try the following:

  • Wait at least 5 minutes
  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Check with your IT staff to ensure that emails from mailbox@montanabar.org are added to your email whitelist
  • Refresh your inbox
  • Did your email change? You MUST use the email address associated with your profile. If your email has changed or we do not have one on file please contact the Bar to update or send notice to mailbox@montanabar.org. For verification purposes please provide your Bar Number and/or Date of Birth.

Upon submitting a valid username or email address, an email will be sent to the address associated with your profile. The email will contain a link back to our website which will allow you to reset your password.

You may need to check your email program's SPAM filter as this "Reset Password" email may be treated as SPAM.

Please Note: Password reset email links expire after 24 hours.
