Crow Tribe declares emergency over lack of law enforcement

The Crow Tribe is declaring a state of emergency over what it calls the Bureau of Indian Affairs' failure to meet its trust responsibility to provide public safety services.

The tribe is dealing with break-ins, theft and shootings to the point that the community is scared, Karl Little Owl, acting CEO of the tribe, told Montana Public Radio.
