Two attorneys are vying to be the next Flathead County justice of the peace.

Paul Sullivan, 37, and William Managhan, 47, are on the ballot to replace Mark Sullivan in the post.

Paul Sullivan is a partner at the Kalispell firm Measure, Sampsel, Sullivan and O'Brien. He also serves as a substitute judge in justice court and city courts in the county, the Daily Inter Lake reports.

Managhan is an attorney with the Office of the Public Defender in Kalispell. He also has been a clerk for the Montana Supreme court and worked in private practice.

The two will be on the June 5 primary ballot.
