Intersection of agriculture, intellectual property is focus of IP Day in Montana


The Intellectual Property Section of the State Bar of Montana and the Montana State University Technology Transfer Office are presenting IP Day in Montana Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022, at Inspiration Hall in MSU's Norm Asbjornson College of Engineering. This year’s free, full-day event focuses on the intersection of IP rights and agriculture.

The event will feature a full day of speakers discussing how patents, copyrights, trademarks, and other forms of IP protections play a critical role in driving agricultural innovation and economic development in Montana. Keynote Speaker Aaron Perzanowski will discuss “Right to Repair” during the lunch hour In addition to presentations from the US Patent and Trademark Office and MT-based IP law experts.
