Frederick W. Snodgrass, candidate for State Bar President
Fred Snodgrass
I am honored to seek election as the President of the Montana State Bar. I graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 2001. Right out of law school I started as a prosecutor, and then moved into private practice focusing on indigent criminal defense work and personal injury. I now manage a street practice law firm with my law partner. I was blessed with the opportunity to work as Guardian ad litem for children in Eastern Montana; defending our most precious resource.
My success in private practice has come from the people around me. I have always had great people working for, and with me. I am seeking the office of President because I believe that now, more than ever, we need to stand together as attorneys and support the judiciary. I am willing to lead in that role and sacrifice my time to protect our Constitution, by assuring that the separation of powers is not infringed.
