Eighty percent of those who took the Montana bar exam in July earned a passing score.
Of the 83 applicants who took the Montana exam in July, 66 passed, or 79.5 percent, the Montana Board of Bar Examiners announced Friday.
The numbers were even better for graduates of the University of Montana’s Alexander Blewett III School of Law, with 40 of 49, or 82 percent receiving passing scores.
Two others passed the July exam but still must acquire a qualifying MPRE score and/or attend the Montana Law Seminar to be admitted to the bar.
